Every Dollar Goes to Students
Donations to the Ubuntu Scholarship Program help remove financial barriers, support student growth, and expand access to opportunity within our community. Every contribution, large or small, plays a meaningful role.
We are committed to transparency, care, and responsible stewardship. Every dollar of support goes to students; all costs and expenses of operating our program are paid directly by our committee members.

How Your Support Makes An Impact
Supporting Students Directly
Support helps sustain the scholarship and allows the committee to respond to student priorities as they arise, not just at one moment in time.
Support is used to:
Maintain consistent, multi-year scholarship support for students
1
Provide individualized guidance and assistance based on each student's situation
2
Connect students to community-based resources and opportunities
3
These supports are intentionally designed to help students build the confidence, preparation, and clarity desired to successfully complete the scholarship application process.
Supporting Responsible Stewardship
All support is stewarded with care and accountability, guided by student lived realities and community priorities.
How decisions are made:
Student goals come first and administrative overhead is taken out of the equation
1
On a case by case basis, grounded in each student’s real situation instead of formulas
2
Support is shaped with community input and lived experience working with families
3
Funds are always used 100% for student scholarships, while additional guidance and program support are provided by committee members at no cost to the program.
